CONGRATULATIONS TO THE OPPONENTS OF THE CROTON GORGE CELL TOWER; their petition garnered 279 signatures.
From Katrina Forbes: The Mayor made a statement that there wasn't enough public support for going forward with the cell tower and had the village manager call Homeland Towers and tell them that. http://www.change.org/petitions/village-of-croton-on-hudson-say-no-to-the-150ft-cell-tower-to-be-built-in-the-croton-gorge?share_id=lvykPrVGqO&utm_campaign=mailto_link&utm_medium=email&utm_source=share_petition
HOWEVER...WITH RESPECT TO THE GOUVEIA "GIFT", over 320 hard copy and online signatures OPPOSING the Gouveia "Gift" have been collected thus far--and counting. Subject: Croton cell tower statement and Gouveia
Dear Mr. Mayor:
It has come to the public’s attention that based on the final count of 279 petition signatures opposing the Croton Gorge Cell tower, you have made the following statement:
“Katrina Forbes: The Mayor made a statement that there wasn't enough public support for going forward with the cell tower and had the village manager call Homeland Towers and tell them that.” See http://www.change.org/petitions/village-of-croton-on-hudson-say-no-to-the-150ft-cell-tower-to-be-built-in-the-croton-gorge?share_id=lvykPrVGqO&utm_campaign=mailto_link&utm_medium=email&utm_source=share_petition
WITH RESPECT TO THE GOUVEIA "GIFT", residents have now garnered over 320 hard copy and online signatures OPPOSING the Gouveia "Gift"--and we're still collecting more...
Clearly, the Gouveia Gift enjoys even less support than the Croton Gorge Cell Tower. Using your own logic above, we anticipate that you will instruct “the village manager to call Mrs. Gouveia and tell her that”.
Residents anxiously await your response.
