We're always thrilled when we can find an ad for vintage pieces acquired at a tag sale; the figures to left were made by Goebel of Hummel fame. The set was called "Flight Into Egypt" and was originally produced in the late 1950's. They were designed by Janet Robson for Goebel. The plate was produced in 1977 or at least this is the date shown in this 1977 ad from Better Homes & Gardens. Click on the photo. The figures were also periodically reproduced throughout the 60's. All pieces would be date stamped and bear the Goebel/Germany mark.
We've mentioned this wrap-around putz village made by Raz Imports before--but since the price is a few dollars less... http://www.elizabethsembellishments.com/Lighted-Wrap-Around-Village-Scene.html
