PART 1: LOCAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOU TO GIVE BACK THIS CHRISTMAS SEASON
--THE GIVING TREE AT HOLY NAME OF MARY CHURCH: The church collects one warm article of clothing, per child for the needy children from Holy Spirit Church in the Bronx. Please take a gift tag from the tree in the church lobby and return the wrapped gift by 12/15. Also please tape the gift tag from the tree to the present for easy sorting.
--GIVE BLOOD: The Community Blood Drive will take place on 12/1 TODAY from 9 am to 3 pm in the Croton-Harmon High School Gym. Refreshments will be served; baby sitters are available.
--FAIR TRADE COFFEE & CHOCOLATE will be sold after masses at Holy Name in the Parish Center Lobby on 12/14 and 12/15. Support fair trade, equal exchange for a better world.

--MIDNIGHT RUN DATE @ HOLY NAME: 12/21; needed are blankets, sleeping bags, coats, sweatshirts, new socks, underwear, individual toiletries. Please drop off your donations/gently used clothing at the Parish Center on Grand Street.
--AND AT TEATOWN, A COLLECTION SPOT FOR OPEN DOOR THRU 12/8 - Open Door Foundation collects and distributes toys for children from families of less fortunate means to ensure each child receives a brand new toy or gift this holiday season. Please donate a new toy for children ages newborn to 14 years old. A donation box is located in Teatown's Nature Center. All of the toys are distributed to the young patients of Open Door Family Medical Centers. Every toy counts!
