Welcome to EverythingCroton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.
CROTON GORGE CELL TOWER, THE GAZETTE 10/10-10/16/13 EDITION - This edition of THE GAZETTE has an article on the proposed HOMELAND TOWERS LLC tower. You are encouraged to read the entire article. The Gazette is on sale just about everywhere.
Highlights only:
-Firm seeks "continued cooperation" in this matter.
-Mr. Vicente and Mr. Xavier of Homeland, at the board meeting of 10/8/13, noted the following:
a) that the height of monopole had been reduced from 150 to 110 feet
b) that the fenced base area had been scaled back from 5,000 sq. feet
c) He added "that if it is not Homeland coming up with a satisfactory resolve, 'the industry'--which has Federal Communications Commission regulations and federal court rulings on its side when it comes to site selection for cellular antennae--will at some time in the future, pursue a remedy. And that remedy, possibly utilizing private land, "may not be (the solution) anybody likes," he said."
There's much more - Again you should read the entire article. You may also have an interest in http://everythingcroton.blogspot.com/2013/09/quick-re-cap-of-92313-bd-or-trustees.html
